Jah Cure Steals Nigerian Asa’s Hit Track

Okay, so peeps in JA (Jamaica) may have created one of the most influential genres of music in the world, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t nick songs sometimes. Problem is, they forget that they’ll get busted and embarrassed.
Take Jah Cure for instance; his latest album ‘Universal Cure’ which was released about a week ago. In the album, Jah Cure unleashes a track called ‘Mr. Jailer’ which not only sounds exactly the same as Asa’s ‘Jailer’ but the lyrics are exactly the same too! Jah Cure has to borrow the voice of Phyllisia to lend her voice to the chorus (whose vocals are incidentally also used in the album's title track as well).
Now that Jah Cure’s out of jail, he needs to recognize the real genius behind the song before he finds himself back in slammer again for theft!
On another note, after listening to Asa’s album ‘Asha’ I was left convinced that she’s probably got the potential to become the biggest Neo Soul/Afro Pop/Afro Soul artist in the whole planet! I wish could only listen to her (Asa) album before releasing her upcoming project…
