Three months ago, if you told the most ardent, fanatical, rugby fan that MFA would be in the final of the Resolution Health Floodlights Rugby Championship, you would have been dismissed as a rugby heretic! Well, this Saturday, it wouldn't be a heresy when we say for a fact that Moi Forces Academy will be making their first final, not only in Floodiez, but in a major rugby tournament. Their opponents? Battle-hardened Mang'u from Central Province. Saturday's final will be a contrast of sorts, with MFA's unpredictable, and often random flair, against Mang'u's clinical and effective style. MFA kicked off their dream run to the final by dispatching Changez' Mean Maroon 25 - 6 in the Quarter Finals, before dismissing Bush Boyz 5-0 in the semis. On their part, Mang'u opened off their quarters by thrashing Kiambu High 37-3, before destroying Patch Machine 22-3.The Final kicks-off at 2pm at the Impala Rugby Club on Ngong Road. Tickets are going for 100/- for students (with school ID's). See y'all there!
