Mariah Carey Obsessed: Eminem Diss The Dream – The Dream who co-wrote Mariah Carey’s new song “Obsessed” revealed that the song is a diss track towards Eminem. Here is what The Dream said about “Obsessed”:
“The most anticipated is the Mariah project, and she just released a fire record in the building today. And we have been blasting it out all day. It’s just f**king retarded. I don’t think anybody is going to expect her to come out punching like she is going to come out. But she got a record. It’s going to light the blogs up too because you don’t know who she talking about, what she talking about, but she talking about something. And remember The-Dream told you first. So you can start that up right now. Mariah Carey has a record, and somebody’s going to be very upset. I said that.”
Also commenting on Mariah’s new hit single, her hubby! Yes, Mr. Carey couldn’t be left be behind as he also let rip on his thoughts on the entire issue. On his part, he denies his husband wife dissed Eminem in her latest music video by dressing like the “8 Mile” rapper. Cannon goes on assure her fans that Mariah would not waste her time. He was quoted on MTV.com saying, “Honestly, I don’t think so. I don’t think that she would take her time. My wife doesn’t beef. She’s Mariah Carey. She’s not beefin’, she’s a vegetarian.” N****a pliz! Now your wife is fighting your beefs for you? “I always say I thought the record was about me, ’cause I’m obsessed with my wife. But if somebody’s out there and you feel like you might have been obsessed, then the record’s about you.”
