The new Britney joint “If You Seek Amy” is really causing a lot of hullabaloo. The title may not be as innocent as it first sounds. Really? Hmmm…if you still haven’t shikad radar, why don’t you try saying, “If you seek Amy” very slowly over and over again…if you still don’t get it, put a little American twang into it… if you still don’t get it, read on.
According to the grapevine, the song will now be changed for radio airplay to "If you see Amy." You see, this title is a big deal! People (like the one’s who still don’t get it) are still searching the internet for the meaning of ‘if you seek Amy.’ The fact that people are searching tells you the meaning is not obvious.Honestly, I don't agree with such a big deal being made of the title. Most children will have no clue about the title. One of the biggest song’s from last year was Katy Perry "I Kissed a Girl." We now have 5-year-old little girls singing, "I kissed a girl and I liked it." Let Britney's song title stay as is. All this controversy will be sure to help the iTunes sales of the "If you seek Amy" song. If you are interested in seeing the complete lyrics, click HERE
